You know, I would be lying to you if I were to say that this was my first blog…
My first attempt at blogging was by far too personal and specific. It was a blog about a specific time in the life of my family and how we worked through the problems at hand. After a fairly short while I ran out of things to write that weren’t sad and depressing. I was always starting posts that I just couldn’t find a good ending to. All-in-all, it was something I was using to work through some extremely tough emotional issues that I just couldn’t let keep draining my emotional bank account. It was definitely a labor of love with no audience or feedback. Way too personal with no return.
Now I think I am finally ready to put myself out there one more time. This time, however, I’m going to write whatever comes to mind. Hopefully whatever I choose to do will be a wee bit entertaining to you.
So, in parting, I wish to leave you with a quote from Johnny Carson. Unfortunately, I can’t find his exact wording anywhere so I must do my best to paraphrase: Thank you for letting me come into your home and entertain you.
