Links-R-Us, Vol. 4

It is once again link Friday. I’m sort of embarrassed that once again Friday is upon me and I haven’t written anything since last week. But please rest assured that I am writing more than just links.  And when all is ready those posts will be available for all to read.  So, without further ado, here we go!

First up this week is a link to a wedding from heck – quite literally.  How would you like it if you were staying at a nice resort for you wedding and with an hour left before the nuptials the wedding/reception hall burns to the ground?  All I can say is that this couple took it in stride a lot better than I would have:
Our next link is a leftover from Halloween, but I had to include it.  With that being said, how can you argue with a remote controlled fire breathing Jack-O-Lantern?  He actually details how to create this fire and safety hazard if you go to the website listed at the end of this four second video.  Somehow, though, I think that I will pass:
This link is to a pretty sweet tip for cleaning your microwave oven.  Not only does this tip make cleaning the oven a breeze, it also disinfects the sponge too!  Give it a shot as it seems to work well:
With next week being Thanksgiving, I found a group of recipes for what to do with your Thanksgiving leftovers.  I haven’t tried any of these, but there are a few that look like they could be pretty good.  If you’re adventurous, give them a shot and let us know how it turns out:
Our last link this week is one that really makes you think.  Last week there was a football player that dropped to one knee and offered a salute in honor of our veterans when he scored a touchdown.  There was a flag thrown and his team was penalized for excessive celebration.  This link takes you to one person’s take on the events and I’ll let you decide from there:
And on that note, thanks for joining us for link Friday.  Have a great weekend!
